Hey everyone, welcome back. Today we're taking a look at the
top Android apps for September of . The
first app on today's list is called
This is an open
source music streaming application. You log in via Spotify and it grabs the
music from YouTube and removes all of the ads. So you get this ad free
experience with all your Spotify playlists inside this app and it is super
simple to use. It looks great. You can connect up with third party devices to
play through like Google Home speakers, and in the settings you can change the
accent color, the theme, as well as the audio quality and the audio source. So
if you're looking for a great streaming application that's completely free,
this is definitely worth checking out. App # is called Number Hub
So this app looks like the standard Google Calculator app,
but when you go into the side panel you have a few more options. So you have
Unit Converter, which is my go to. Since moving to Canada, I've been converting
Canadian dollars to pounds and U.S. dollars quite a lot. So inside this app you
can choose your two currencies and any number you type in, it's going to
convert it automatically. So any calculations you do, you can see it in both
currencies. It also works with units of measurement such as mass, speed,
temperature. There's so many different types of conversions you can make inside
of here. There's even a section to have a time zone calculator so you can view
all your different time zones. So this is like the perfect app for if you're
traveling and you need to convert like metric with imperial or different
currencies. This has it all in the one calculator app.
This is a great app because it shows you all the stats
around your battery, so your battery health. The full capacity as well as even
your app usage. So it will tell you like the screen on time as well as the
background usage for each app. But you can view a lot of information such as the
discharge rate in amperes. You can see the amount of voltage your battery is
using as well as the wattage coming into your phone whenever you connect up
your charger.
This is a paid application, but I will be giving away some
free promo codes on my Instagram. So if you head over there, check out my
story. I will be putting a story up with some free codes, but that is like a
first come, first serve thing, so make sure you're fast. Inside the app there
is Wallpapers every week. It's updated so there's new Wallpapers and all of
them are very beautiful. They're all graphical based and they're all pretty
minimalistic, but there's a lot to choose from. There's also categories, so you
can choose between waves, islands, abstract, space, and all of them are just
amazing. Like, I absolutely love how these look, and I'm even rocking one right
now on my home screen.
So Dockalyzer allows
you to pull up a floating dock with all your favorite apps or your recent apps.
Wherever you are on your phone, you can either trigger it by holding down your
power button, or you can have an on-screen toggle to pull up the dock. You can
fully customize how the dock looks in terms of the radius of the corners, the
transparency, the color, the time the dock stays up before disappearing.
There's a lot of different things you can change, but one of my favorite things
is you can add widgets. So in this sticker widget mode, you can add any widget
you want. And when you go ahead and toggle the dock, it will also pop up with
those floating widgets. It's great for if people are messaging you if you're
trying to negotiate like a plan, because you can just like hold down your power
button, view your calendar, and you can see all your entries for the week, so you
don't even need to leave the app. So yeah, there's a lot of things you could
potentially do with this.
this is a way of quickly clearing out all of the junk inside
of your gallery. If you jump inside, you can swipe left to delete the image or
swipe right to keep it. So it's kind of like Tinder basically, but for your
photos. And yeah, it's just a super great way of easily clearing out your photos
one by one to ensure you don't lose any of the things you want to keep, but you
also clear out all of the junk.
So recently Google updated the weather app for the
Pixel Pro. So it has this new UI and all
these new features. So it has AI weather reports so it summarizes the weather
using AI. You also have all these widgets down at the bottom which have the
material you theming and there's a lot of information about the weather stats.
So if you want to get this app but you don't have the Pixel Pro, you can
download a ported version online.
So we all have those days when we just endlessly scroll on
social media and we can lose so much time throughout the day doing this. Inside
Stop Scroll you can set a daily limit for how much time you want to spend
scrolling through reels or Tik Toks or whatever it may be. So all you need to
do is go to your day limit, click on this toggle switch and you can change the
time limit. So currently I've got it to minutes a
day and as you can see I've already used minutes out of
this. It also shows you all the stats of like which apps you're using the most.
So as you can see, minutes today was spent on Instagram Reels and two minutes
was spent on Tiktok. So yeah, that is like a big time waster and this can
really help minimize that.
this allows you to view any lyrics you want for any song. So
this isn't in the Play Store. You will need to download it via an APK, but
there's no ads inside of here. It's really simple to use. It allows you to just
search for whichever song you want and it will remember them in this list. And
when you want to find the lyrics, just jump in the app, tap on the song. And
you have all the lyrics. So it is really clean and there's like no ads. It's a
super great format. You can also share it with your friends as well. And yeah,
it's just a really simple app, but so convenient for those times when you want
some lyrics.
This is a powerful app which gives you access to AI generated
templates for creating social media posts, newsletters, invitations, birthday
cards, and so much more. You can also use AI to generate photos or graphics to
populate the templates, and each of your own photos can also be edited via
filters as well as generative fill. And you can even use AI to generate text
for your content. So if you're making a newsletter, you can generate images and
generate the script and generate the formatting of the newsletter. So it's a
pretty powerful application made by Microsoft completely free. Kind of reminds
me of Caneva a little bit, but it's definitely worth checking out. No matter
what your profession is, I'm sure it's going to come in handy. So yeah, that is
pretty much it.
